While traveling through the Northwest in 1976, looking for a place to live, my family and I arrived in Hood River on the 4th of July. We stayed for the parade and never left.Not long after that, Hood River began its transformation. It has been an exciting experience being part of this valley for the past 30 plus years. I have been a contractor, cabinet and furniture maker, member of a Rock-n-Roll band, owner of a successful computer and network integration firm, past president of Hood River Rotary Club; but mostly I have been a father and husband enjoying this awesome part of the world with my family. Windsurfing, skiing, flying, and golf are my favorites, but this wonderful valley offers so much more.
